Noble County Jail was designed to coordinate with the county’s
functional needs while maintaining a very limited budget. The jail will
house approximately 48 inmates in a combination of men and women
housed in both dormitory and cell housing, with the footprint of the
building being roughly 13,000 square feet. The site is an urban infill
located downtown next to the existing police and municipal building. The
design features a central control allowing direct observation of the
housing area, and will accommodate future expansion to the housing.
Local 911 service is also relocated in this building. |
